Well, folks, the day is here; in just a few hours Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 45th president of the United States of America. And, while we may not know what lies ahead of us, Stephen Colbert will be here to help us get through all of our mixed emotions.

Last night on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the late night host used his opening monologue to talk about Trump's inauguration and future plans as president with his trademark sarcasm and wit. Colbert joked that Trump will deliver on his campaign promise to "Make America Great Again" by just telling people America is great. He added that Trump's entrance to the Rolling Stones song "Heart of Stone" is definitely not a metaphor for the president elect's attitude toward the county.

Thank you, Stephen Colbert, for making us laugh today.
