Over the weekend, columnist E. Jean Carroll accused Donald Trump of sexual assault in the 1990s. The president denied the accusation, saying "it never happened," and offered up quite the response: "She's not my type."
Trump's lack of compassion was seized upon by late night show hosts, including Stephen Colbert, who slammed Trump for giving this "very, very bad reason why he's innocent."
"So it didn't happen because she's not his type. That is the sound of a man realising in mid-sentence that he's not talking to Billy Bush," said Colbert.
Importantly, The Late Show host also called out the way media covered the accusation, and New York Post, beware.
