Thanos, the fatal thorn in the side of the universe forever. Yeah, yeah, he was defeated. But in the final trailer for The Marvels, it appears his terrible, terrible work is far from done.

In the intergalactic Marvel crossover for the ages, Captain Marvel's Brie Larson returns as Carol Danvers, joined by WandaVision's Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Ms. Marvel's Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan — all united by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson).

But they're up against the MCU's latest powerful villain, Dar-Benn, played by Zawe Ashton. She's a Kree warrior-turned-emperor on a path toward vengeance, and that purple power she's got doesn't look too promising for the trio.

The Marvels hits cinemas Nov. 10.
