At San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, Henry Cavill gave fans a chance to finally see Netflix's take on Andrzej Sapkowski's much-beloved fantasy series — and it did not disappoint.

The beloved story of monster hunter Geralt of Rivia (Cavill) has been told many times over, with a feature-length film, a short-running TV series, numerous graphic novels, and a video game franchise. While many have done the story justice, Witcher fans are eager to see it tackled again, especially by a content producer as highly praised as Netflix.

Little is known about the streaming service's plan for the world of The Continent, but you can bet there will be beasts aplenty. Especially Cavill. I mean, that man worked out.

The Witcher Season 1 is expected to begin streaming in late 2019.
