Let's get one thing out of the way with the Season 2 trailer for The Witcher — it's about monsters. Fighting monsters, hunting monsters, listening to "Monster."

"None of us will have any peace while there are monsters left in the world," says Henry Cavill's monster hunter Geralt, back for another round of the Netflix series.

The streaming service has released the official trailer for the second season of the fantasy series based on Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski's books. While the war between the North and South rages on, Geralt looks like he's finally starting to train Freya Allan's Ciri, and could have more than a few creatures to battle — human or otherwise.

The Witcher Season 2 arrives on Netflix Dec. 17.
