The latest guests in the Bon Appétit test kitchen are a couple of guys who are ready to try. Yes, we mean the Try Guys.

On this episode of "Back-To-Back Chef," the Try Guys attempt the same recipe as chef Carla Music, at the same time, but only with verbal instructions.

Immediately their surf and turf carpaccio goes downhill, as Keith tries to slice a filet mignon but instead shreds it into pieces.

"The biggest thing is that you really want it in one piece," Carla tells them. The Try Guys burst into laughter. "How are you doing this in one piece?" Keith replies, exasperated.

Zach comments that we all have to make mistakes to learn. "It's kinda what we're all about." Carla agrees, saying that "it's like letting a child burn itself, which is a thing I did with my own children." Wait, what? When Zach asks if that means she'll light them on fire, she laughs, but doesn't answer.

Eugene also takes a moment to compliment the BA test kitchen and ask if they know how popular they are online. The Try Guys describe the test kitchen as the internet's "adoptive family."

Despite all the fumbling, they still manage to pull through as a team and create a faithful recreation of the dish (which is even approved and validated by Chris).

"Bon Appé-fucking-tit," indeed.
