I stopped watching The Walking Dead ages ago, but for all of you who have kept up here's your first proper look at Season 11. The coming season marks the last ride for the series adapted from Robert Kirkman's hit comic book series, which itself ended in 2019.

I have no idea what's happening in any of this. Who are half of these characters even? Why are there stormtroopers? AMC's three-minute look at The Walking Dead's final season debuted during 2021's fully remote San Diego Comic Con on Saturday. The season premieres on Aug. 22, but AMC+ subscribers can get an early start with it on Aug. 15.
