Walmart announced that they're testing self-scanning robots in 50 stores across the U.S. The machines are meant to locate out-of-stock items, as well as find missing price changes and labels. Walmart's CTO, Jeremy King, insisted that the robots will not be replacing any employees, and the number of hired employees will remain the same.
