In U.S. politics, birds of a feather flock together.

Most American voters claim their loyalties to one of just two candidates. The two-party system has been around since the earliest years of independence.

To this day, smaller players like the Libertarians or the Green Party are mostly left out. But it wasn't always that way.

So how did the two-party system show up in the first place? In this We The Voters short film we find out.
