According to a bio posted on his site, Greenspan attended Harvard with Zuckerberg and started in entrepreneurship at a young age: he claims to have founded the IT consulting company Think Computer from his bedroom when he was 15. He also boasts numerous awards for entrepreneurship, spoke at the Kennedy Space Center and graduated with an Economics degree in 2004. More recently, he turned Think into a software company that produces a line of web-apps and development tools. Zuckerberg, by contrast, is sometimes portrayed as a laid-back character - during the Yahoo-Facebook acquisition talks, it was reported that he wouldn't get out of bed for an 8am conference call with Microsoft.

In an open letter posted on Aaron's site yesterday, he takes some shots at Zuckerberg, alleging that the Facebook founder stole his idea:

I've no idea who's in the right here, and unfortunately I can't test the site: not only is it reserved for students, but you need an invite from an existing member to join. For what it's worth, the introductory video is better than any Hollywood trailer. But it also seems fairly pretentious, and that won't help when battling against Zuckerberg's frat boy image. And while the personal rivalries are interesting, it seems unlikely that CommonRoom will make a dent in Facebook anytime soon: the site already has uptake across America and worldwide - those network effects are virtually impossible to reverse. And with Facebook already in talks with Yahoo, it seems that CommonRoom may be a few years too late.
