LONDON -- In the days following David Bowie's death, fans have been paying tribute to the iconic musician in a variety of ways.
People have been sharing his awesomely cool 1970s mugshot and the cheerful letter he wrote to a U.S. fan. A GIF showing his different styles in a matter of seconds has been going around Twitter. Londoners have been placing flowers at a Bowie mural in Brixton and a Scottish organist's moving tribute has been going viral on Facebook.
And now, we have a Bowie sand sculpture.
Terry Smith shared the image on Facebook of a man working on a sculpture of Bowie's face on Tuesday. The picture was taken at London's Southbank, on the shore of the River Thames.
In his caption, Smith wrote: "There's a Sandman waiting in the Sky..."
