When you're out on the town, as far as this tortoise is concerned, you should always be dressed for the occasion.

An African spurred tortoise was spotted on the streets of the Tsukishima neighborhood in Tokyo, walking with it's owner and dressed in a frilly, pink pinafore.

Plenty of people who crossed their path were excited to snap a few pictures of the creature as it strolled along, though it is unclear whether they asked for fashion advice.

According to Rocket News 24, the pair are often spotted walking around, even as far as the Ginza neighborhood, which is a respectable trek from Tsukishima, especially for a tortoise.

Some reptiles can't go anywhere without the paparazzi on their shell.
