LONDON -- Got a door hinge that needs fixing or a shelf you want put up? Maybe the royals can sort it out for you.
Princes William and Harry have been helping the team that makes the BBC programme DIY SOS on Wednesday with a very ambitious project they've taken on in Manchester -- transforming a street of derelict homes in the city so that ex-service personnel can move into them.
The two princes toured the building site, meeting the volunteers who've been working on the project, as well as talking to some of the veterans who will move into the new homes.

And they also rolled up their sleeves, with Harry trying his hand at some brick laying and William putting his painting skills to the test.
Both princes have previously shown interest in the challenges facing ex-service personnel. Prince Harry, who ended his military career earlier this year, organised the Invictus Games -- an event for injured servicemen and women.
