LONDON – Prince Harry will be making an official royal visit to Washington D.C. this autumn, to attend events linked to the Orlando 2016 Invictus Games.
The visit, which will take place in late October, was announced Tuesday afternoon on the official Kensington Palace Twitter account.

Washington D.C. is Prince Harry's first stop in a run of three royal visits, which will also see him travelling to South Africa and Lesotho around late November.
The Prince is currently undertaking conservation work in Southern Africa; he is due to return to the UK in the middle of September, where he plans to work as a volunteer helping soldiers who have been injured in service.
