Verizon is dropping free tickets to NFL games — here's when and how to secure yours
SAVE UP TO $480: Through Sept. 23, you can get a free NFL Sunday Ticket for the 2025 season (regularly $60/month) by switching to select Verizon phone or home internet plans. On Aug. 7 starting at 8 a.m. ET, Verizon customers also have the chance to score free tickets to NFL games on the My Verizon app.
Football fans, it's a good day to have Verizon — so much free football watching is coming your way. First up, Verizon is resurrecting its free NFL Sunday Ticket deal from last year, covering subscription costs for the whole 2025 season for most phone and home internet customers. But there are opportunities for an even better watch experience than through a screen: Verizon is literally giving away free tickets to NFL games.
On Aug. 7, tickets to see teams like the Philadelphia Eagles, Los Angeles Rams, and more will be available on the My Verizon app during three windows: 8 a.m. ET, 12 p.m. ET, and 3 p.m. ET. The freebies will be available in limited quantities, of course, and could easily sell out within the hour. This could be the most important alarm you set all year.
If you miss out on the tickets, more free stuff is coming in September: Keep your My Verizon app handy to snag drops like passes to Tate McRae or Disney on Ice, TopGolf gift cards, and Fandango movie tickets.
For all of the other Sunday games that you'll want to watch this season, NFL Sunday Ticket is a crucial streaming app to have on your devices. There are three ways to unlock free NFL Sunday Ticket through Verizon:

This NFL Sunday Ticket deal will last through Sept. 23, so you still have time to decide on your new phone or to figure out how to ditch your current plan.
