The long-awaited trailer for Avengers: Infinity War has finally landed, and we already have plenty of questions for Marvel's mega superhero mash-up (like what's up with Thanos' face?).

But the trailer may have given us an answer for one of the lingering queries left over from Captain America: Civil War -- how will Captain America and Iron Man reconcile after their bitter breakup over Bucky?

The ideological and emotional divide was pretty heartbreaking, but Civil War did offer a ray of hope between Steve and Tony in the form of a fittingly retro flip phone that Cap left for his billionaire buddy, in case Tony decides he ever needs to get the band back together.

Obviously, the arrival of Thanos, aka "The Mad Titan," is a pretty valid reason to swallow your pride and call your ex.

And in the Infinity War trailer, it looks like Tony will do just that, since you can see him gripping Steve's phone as he surveys the damage in Doctor Strange's sanctum -- presumably caused by Thanos' lackeys as they search for the Infinity Stone in Stephen's possession: the Time Stone housed in the Eye of Agamotto.

Judging by Cap's glorious "fugitive beard" in the trailer, plus the fact that his scenes all seem to take place in Wakanda with Black Panther (although you can never trust a trailer), it might be a while before we get a proper reunion between the Avengers' two dads, since Tony at least starts off the action in New York, where it appears that he, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange and maybe Thor could be the first line of defense against Thanos' invasion.

But hawk-eyed fans (get it?) will notice that while Tony and Steve don't appear in any shots together in the trailer, Hulk and War Machine are both on hand in Wakanda alongside Black Panther, Cap, Black Widow, Winter Soldier and Falcon, and Iron Man's Hulkbuster armor is noticeably seen landing outside the city, hinting that Black Panther's home turf will play a major role in the showdown with Thanos.

To find out how the team reassembles, we'll have to wait for May 4, 2018, when Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters.
