Turns out, Captain America can rock one hell of a beard. And you don't have to just take our word for it anymore.

While Marvel Studios has yet to release any Avengers: Infinity War footage online, they have been giving out concept art posters at Comic-Con this weekend, and those posters offer an early peek at what our heroes will look like in action.

It all started a few days ago with this official announcement from the Marvel Twitter account.

Pretty rad, right? You can see Spidey in the "Iron Spider" suit up in the top left corner, and it looks like Iron Man's armor has gotten some upgrades as well.

Just wait. There's more. So, so much more.

That there is Thanos, the big bad that Marvel's been building up to for, oh, five whole years now, ever since the end credits of The Avengers. Also with him are the Black Order, also known in the comics as the Children of Thanos. Very intimidating!

But – somehow – it just keeps getting better. This last poster's the one with all the scene-stealers.

You've got Captain America's Beard front and center! The rest of Captain America surrounding it! Platinum Blonde Black Widow just to the right of Beard! You'll even find Teen Groot – all but guaranteed to be our second new favorite character, after Beard – lurking in the top left.

Plus: Thor and Star-Lord are present, too, which means this single poster collects three of the four major Chrises. Not bad, eh?

Collect the whole set, and here's what you get:

Chills. We're getting chills just looking at this. That's the thing about Marvel – they invest years of meticulous character development so that when the characters so much as stand next to each other, it's an occasion worth celebrating.

Avengers: Infinity War will bring all your favorite MCU superheroes and then some to theaters on May 4, 2018.
