Think an Opera House is just for pearls, and opera and silk gowns? Well strap yourself in 'cause Australia's iconic venue just announced a festival just for pop culture obsessives.

The Sydney Opera House announced their first ever BingeFest, a festival dedicated to things millennials love in the format we most consume; binge watching.

From a 24-hour cat video compilation, a memorial service for Harambe the gorilla who died, to a participatory performance artwork from "not an actor" Shia Lebeouf, it sounds pretty novel.

Le Beouf, Ronko and Turner will be exhibiting the work, which if their previous work for FACT in Liverpool entitled #TOUCHMYSOUL is anything to go by, it'll be interesting in the least.

But the ultimate highlight? Revisiting the repressed and dusty elements of your adolescence by indulging in a 24-hour Buffy the Vampire Slayer marathon.

Yep, you heard us. An all day and all night Buffy fest. Die hard fans rejoice! And people who've never seen it -- you should rejoice too, because now you can get force-feed yourself a full 24 hours of Buffy goodness and all you have to do is bring snacks, sit back and take it all in.

Thank you God (Joss Whedon) for blessing us this day. Amen.
