Chanel's ridiculous new rain boots will probably cost more than your rent
Chanel's newest item joins the line of clear jeans and jackets that we just didn't ask for.
Chanel's Spring 2018 show during Paris Fashion Week showcased a rainwear collection that included everything from bags to ponchos to clear rain boots. The funky footwear stole the show after the collection was revealed by Karl Lagerfeld at the Grand Palais.
The high fashion rain boots come in various heel sizes, so you can choose your height dependent on the depth of area puddles if you'd like. Convenient.
Many of the show's models were dressed in head-to-toe plastic, because nothing says April showers like embodying saran wrap.
After the show, Chanel posted the photo highlights on Twitter and people didn't waste time commenting on the new trend.
