Another day, another video reminding us to just stay indoors.

In today's edition of nature being terrifying, adventurers on a boating safari at the Liwonde National Park in Malawi on April 10 witnessed a massive crocodile attack an elephant near a river.

In the clip, a herd of elephants can be seen slowly making their way across a river when the front of the group slows to a stop. Suddenly, a crocodile jumps out of the water and bites down onto the trunk of a medium-sized elephant. The elephants roar but the crocodile refuses to let go.

Finally, after a few tense moments, the largest elephant in the family comes to the rescue, appearing to stomp the crocodile as the younger elephant runs away from the scene.

Nature, you are brutal.
