Large group of cows elects unsuspecting beaver as leader

Congratulations to this beaver on winning the election.

Congratulations to these cattle on discovering the democratic process.

Saskatchewan ranch owner Adrienne Ivey and her husband paid a visit to their herd of 150 heifers on Friday, only to discover that the cattle had recently held a free and fair presidential election.

And their new leader was a very confused beaver.

It seems that, perhaps, this herd forgot to tell the beaver about the whole "you are in charge now" situation. But that's okay. When a huge group of cows is following your every move, you're bound to suspect something eventually.
