Trump's POTUS Twitter account had an image from Obama's inauguration in 2009
The banner photo for Donald Trump's version of the @POTUS account briefly featured a predictable photo of American flags raised in front of a distant Capitol.
Less predictably, the photo was from the inauguration of former President Barack Obama, in 2009.
Look for yourself:
Looks pretty similar to the below image, no?
Notice, for example, the brown hat on the left. Also, the sun. Also, the position of every single flag in the photo.
Also, we are certainly not the only people to realize this.
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.
If the image changes to one filled with red hats, you'll know it's from Trump's own inauguration.
UPDATE at 1:40 p.m. ET: Someone has changed the background of the account to a super generic photo of an American flag.
Sometimes you only have time for a quick fix.
UPDATE at 4:09 p.m. ET: The quick fix flag from earlier has now been replaced with a picture of the president gazing out a window.
We'll get back to you if the president's digital squad comes up with any more artistic inspiration.
