Jimmy Kimmel trolls Trump with old footage of him talking about Obama and Iran

The one handy thing about having a president who spent years as a celebrity is that there's no shortage of old footage to draw on when you need a clip of them contradicting themselves after they start a war.

This is exactly what Jimmy Kimmel does in the clip above, digging out some footage of Donald Trump in 2011 saying he thinks Obama "will start a war with Iran because he has absolutely no ability to negotiate" and calling him "weak and ineffective."

"Well, look at that: another prediction he got right," says Kimmel, before sharing a 2012 tweet from Trump on the same topic: "Now that Obama's poll numbers are in tailspin — watch for him to launch a strike in Libya or Iran," Trump wrote. "He is desperate."

"Well, I guess at least we know why he did this," says Kimmel.
