Cubs fans are getting very emotional over their team's historic World Series trip
The Chicago Cubs are going to the World Series for the first time in 71 years and while the players and city celebrate, a good number of fans got choked up over seeing their team finally -- FINALLY -- make it to the Fall Classic.
As the final outs of the pennant-clinching win against the Dodgers were made on a double play Saturday night, Cubs fans had no idea how to feel, a mix of ecstasy, confusion, and lots of catharsis. Through every scenario imaginable, Cubs fans (including this writer) have prepared themselves for disappointment.

But what do when they actually won? All those feelings, mixed together, rushed to the surface and many fans found themselves crying with joy over the Cubs achievement.
