Another day, another photoshoot fail. Only this time, the extra limbs were intentional.

GQ Magazine's 2018 Comedy Issue is here and in the name of big laughs the cover mocked the memorable Vanity Fair "Hollywood Portfolio" cover shoot that made Reese Witherspoon look like she had three legs and Oprah Winfrey look like she had three arms earlier this year.

For the cover comedy stars Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, and Sarah Silverman were photographed posing together in stunning dresses. But while there are only three women present in the shot, if you look closely (or not even that closely, TBH) 15 different arms and legs can be seen. LOL.

The publication was swift to apologize for this "error" with a post titled: "We Deeply Regret Our 2018 Comedy Issue Cover." Ah, comedy.

"GQ would like to apologize to Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, and Sarah Silverman for the egregious mistakes made in the process of creating the cover for our 2018 comedy issue..." the magazine's editors wrote. "Our intention was to celebrate the three super-funny superstars, who are all that is smart and perceptive and riotous and necessary in comedy right now. We deeply regret that the results violated GQ's rigorous standards of editorial excellence and the laws of nature."

Editors went on to explain that GQ would be conducting a "thorough internal audit" of the cover development process to ensure nothing this embarrassing ever happens again.

"To demonstrate our commitment to transparency, we will release the results of the review, quietly, in 17 months, on Medium," the publication hilariously noted.

Then, GQ apologized to its beloved readers for messing the heck up, writing, "...We know that GQ must work doubly hard to earn back your trust. Until then, we'll be ignoring our mentions."

Fortunately, because people live for shade, the magazine's Vanity Fair reference was adored.

GQ will be sharing the full profiles of its comedy cover stars over the next week, and until then, the magazine will be "praying that Donald Trump tweets something about Chrissy Teigen in the next hour so everybody forgets all about this."

We're not sure if Trump will deliver, but Chrissy just tweeted the birth announcement of her second child, so that's something!
