While many Americans were left speechless, struggling to put their thoughts on Donald Trump's press conference into words, our British hero logged on Twitter to save the day.

J.K. Rowling, author, superwoman and avid Trump challenger, eloquently summarized POTUS's bizarre impromptu presser with a single powerful, humorous and eerily accurate burn.

On Thursday afternoon, Trump kicked the presser off by nominating Alexander Acosta for secretary of the Department of Labor, and from there it was all downhill.

Watching the president rant and rave about not ranting and raving was terrifying in and of itself, not least when he even claimed drugs were becoming cheaper than candy bars

When the press conference came to a close, Rowling was honestly worried.

She logged on to Twitter and spoke her mind, swiftly comparing the event to a horror movie and boldly admitting the press conference was more terrifying than the most terrifying horror film she has ever seen: Psycho.

Now just let that sink in for a second.

In J.K. Rowling's 51 years of life, the creator of Lord Voldemort feels that a Donald Trump press conference is the scariest thing she has ever seen.

The fear associated with America's current political climate has officially surpassed that associated with the classic Hitchcock horror film about a sketchy AF motel room run by literal murderer, Norman Bates.
