Katy Perry sort of denied there's a response to "Bad Blood" on Witness in a rambling answer on the subject to Entertainment Weekly. She did, however, leave us with the following warning: "But, let me say this: Everything has a reaction or a consequence so don’t forget about that, okay, honey."

She premiered "Swish Swish" last night, and it really seems to be a response to her feud with Taylor Swift.

Taymerican citizen Ruby Rose, who has stuck up for Swift on Twitter in the past, is not a fan. She said her song "Chained to the Rhythm" is "purposeful poop" — which I think we can all agree is funny regardless of our pop star alliances — and suggested Perry's "woke" rebrand is insincere.

Apart from the fact that it kind of sounds like she's literally singing "Swift Swift," there's plenty of evidence suggesting this might be the clapback we all knew was coming. Swish was also the working title of Kanye West's The Life of Pablo, featuring "Famous." We all know how that turned out — with a perfectly manicured hand delivering the receipts.

The song features Nicki Minaj, who Swift feuded with over the 2015 VMAs. Minaj tweeted about "Anaconda" being snubbed, and Tay interpreted as a personal attack. "Bad Blood" went on to win Video of the Year.

Perry was already firmly #TeamNotTaylor at this point, and tweeted to make her alliance with Minaj known.

Another famous Perry tweet brings us back to "Swish Swish."

"A tiger / Don't lose no sleep / Don't need opinions / From a selfish or a sheep," Perry sings. "Don't you come for me / No, not today / You're calculated / I got your number."

We hear your roar loud and clear, Katy.
