Kendrick Lamar portrait will hang in the U.S. Capitol thanks to a cool teen
If you need further proof that teen girls will save us all, there is actually something good headed to the United States Capitol thanks to our youth.
Tiona Cordova's portrait of Kendrick Lamar, titled "Utmost Appreciation," won the 3rd District Congressional Art Competition and will have a new home in D.C., where it will hopefully remind our representatives to sit down and be humble.
Cordova is a senior at Centennial High School in Pueblo, Colorado. Her congressman, Scott Tipton, gave her a well-deserved shoutout for the accomplishment on Twitter.
