Capcom is teaming up with iam8bit to bring back Mega Man 2 and Mega Man X in cartridge form, and to make it even cooler, some of the cartridges glow in the dark.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Mega Man, pre-orders open Tuesday for the playable reissues of Mega Man 2 (for the NES) and Mega Man X (for the SNES), each priced at $100. It's a bit steep, but the cartridges come with a bunch of extra goodies like completely restored boxes, instruction booklets with new forewords, and "retro pack-in goodies."

The cartridges are pretty limited, with only 8,500 copies available for each game, and 1,000 of each being Glow-In-The-Dark Blue.

The standard color for Mega Man 2 is Opaque Light Blue, but people who order it have a 1/8 chance of getting the glow-in-the-dark version, which is completely randomized. Same goes for Mega Man X, except the standard cartridge color is Opaque White.

Of course, to fully enjoy either of these reissues, you'll need a working NES or SNES for the respective titles, or at least something like the Super NT that can play classic cartridges.
