Alfre Woodard, Joan Cusack pop up in new 'Lemony Snicket' trailer
LOS ANGELES -- Count Olaf is ready to unleash his wrath.
In a new trailer for Netflix's Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, the Baudelaire orphans' evil guardian (played by Neil Patrick Harris) prepares to torment the children through a series of chores.
The Netflix newcomer is an adaptation of a series of books penned by Lemony Snicket (aka Daniel Handler).

It follows the Baudelaire siblings — Violet (Malina Weissman), Klaus (Louis Hynes), and Sunny (Presley Smith) — as they try to outsmart Olaf and discover clues to their parents’ mysterious death.
The newest trailer also features appearances from Joan Cusack (who plays Justice Strauss), Alfre Woodard (who plays Aunt Josephine) and Aasif Mandvi (who plays Uncle Monty).
The series is executive produced by Handler and Emmy-winner Barry Sonnenfeld (Pushing Daisies, Men in Black, The Addams Family).
Other cast members include Patrick Warburton (Lemony Snicket), Catherine O'Hara (Dr. Orwell), K. Todd Freeman (Mr. Poe), Aasif Maandvi (Uncle Monty) and Don Johnson (Sir).
The series premieres Jan. 13, 2017.
