Plugless, an aftermarket wireless charging company, released a video Thursday showing just how easy it is to charge a Tesla without a chord.

The company, which started taking deposits for its planned inductive charger mat designed specifically for the Tesla Model S back in February, now has a final product to show off.

Customers who pre-ordered the item will begin receiving their $2,440 chargers in a few weeks, as production ramps up this fall.

Rated to withstand temperatures 0° to 122° Fahrenheit, Plugless' charger is ideal for customers who live in cities with extreme weather -- in either the sun- or snow-belt.

In order to charge your Tesla with Plugless, simply park your Model S over the Plugless charger and it receives a 7.2 kiloWatt charge. That equates to around 20 miles of range per hour of charging, according to Plugless' website.

Plus, installing Plugless doesn't change your ability to use a hardwired charger. So that means when you're not near your Plugless charger, you can still gather electrons through the standard, wired charging port.

Plugless' Tesla Model S charger currently is only compatible with rear-wheel drive Model S cars — all-wheel drive model compatibility is in the works. Sadly, Tesla Roadster, Model X and Model 3 are also not yet compatible with the Plugless charger. Certainly, chargers for those models could come online in time.
