Those old-school jellies you loved as a kid are back, thanks to Rihanna

Work, work, work, work, jelly.

Rihanna is a fashion-forward kind of gal. But as all stylish people know, sometimes, in order to be fashion forward, you have to look backwards.

Meet the Puma x Fenty Jelly Slide, which comes out on May 25 as part of the continued collaboration between Rihanna and Puma. For $90, you can buy yourself a nostalgia-filled piece of slip-on footwear updated and blessed by the dulcet tones of Rihanna.

What a deal.

To be clear, these Rihanna jellies — while reminiscent of our childhoods — are not the jellies of our past. Jelly sandals used to come in a wide variety of fun colors, and were fastened securely to our feet with straps and buckles. (Remember the strap marks?)

Rihanna's Puma jellies, on the other hand, look like something you'd slip on when it was time to shower in college and you still lived in the dorms. But to each their own jelly preference.

If you are dead set on owning more Rihanna fashion, you will be able to buy these jellies at a variety of locations. According to Sole Collector, they will be available at big box stores like Finish Line and smaller boutiques like Sivasdescalzo.

The jellies come in white, pink, and black and will likely sell out quickly, so make sure you are truly ready for this jelly when you go to purchase.
