Sex toy warmer is the toasty cure for those cold, lonely nights
Even sex toys get cold during winter. But the days of chilly vibrators could be numbered thanks to the creation of this very handy sex toy warmer.
The warmer -- which is aptly named "Warm" -- launched Wednesday with the aim of providing sex toy enthusiasts with an "effective and discreet way to warm sex toys and take sexual pleasure to heightened levels." The warmer, which measures 13 inches by 6.5 inches, has a secondary function. When it's not warming your intimate devices, it protects and stores them between use. Alas, the warmer isn't wireless -- it has to be plugged into the wall. According to a statement, Warm is "styled like a fashionable clutch bag" and made of vegan leather.
"Created with the intention of improving intimacy between partners as well as enhancing solo play, Warm allows users to warm their sex toys of various sizes and explore the unique sensations they create," reads the statement. The sex toy warmer was developed after a "passionate evening" between its creators Janine and LJ. "Wanting to romance his love, LJ warmed up their sex toys for Janine to enjoy more pleasure. The effort had a profound effect on Janine," reads the statement. "Not only from the remarkable sensations the warmed toys created but the deeply emotional reaction she had as a result of his caring and forethought," the statement continues. Those eager to wow lovers with a kind gesture might have to dig deep. Warm doesn't come cheap. It retails at $149 (£117.48). The purported effects on pleasure -- which are yet to be backed up by research -- remain to be seen.
