T-Mobile wants its users to be able to binge on content at all times -- no matter what else is going on.

The "un-carrier" launched its new Binge On Up headset on Friday, April 1.

The product is designed to promote, T-Mobile's Binge On feature. Binge On lets users stream video from services such as Netflix, YouTube and Hulu without it counting against their data caps.

Basically, think of it as a head-mounted selfie-stick that makes it possible to walk around the office while also watching Broad City.

OK, OK -- so the idea is a little ridiculous (though, is it any more ridiculous than a selfie stick?) but it's still something you almost want to try out.

Which is why, in an added twist, T-Mobile actually created prototypes for its Binge On Up helmets. Mashable was given one of the helmets to try out.

As you can see, magenta is totally my color.

The company even included an instruction manual for the device.

My favorite line is in the "Getting Started" section where it says "T-Mobile is not liable for performance issues or massive data overages caused by using Binge On Up with AT&T or Verizon data plans."

T-Mobile's outgoing CEO John Legere has been tweeting with his Binge On Up all day.

The T-Mobile team even created a video playlist of videos to watch while bingeing.

For a gag -- this is pretty good. In fact, I wouldn't mind a more comfortable version of this while on a treadmill
