Teen artist removes his nipples and belly button, sells them as art
Belly buttons: easily the most expendable part of the human body.
18-year-old artist Karim Boumjimar felt understandably indifferent about that part of his anatomy. But instead of just letting his button hang there, doing what belly buttons do (nothing), Boumjimar decided to undergo a little illegal body modification. He surgically removed his nipples and belly button, which he now plans on transforming into earrings and a necklace. As one does.

"[The "Mona Lisa"] has no eyebrows or eyelashes. It’s really interesting how da Vinci meticulously paid attention to every single detail but chose not to give her eyebrows or the eyelashes," Boumjimar told Dazed.
The artist admitted that the surgery wasn't completed entirely, err, legally, but that he isn't particularly concerned about the consequences. Boujimar feels proud of his super smooth, nipple-free body. The artist also mentioned a video on YouTube featuring a woman with three boobs. The three-boobed lady, along with the Renaissance master, inspired him to undergo a little body modification.
What a beautiful confluence of muses.

"She was talking about how she doesn’t need anyone’s validation and she knows she has three boobs . . And that’s pretty much how I feel," Boumjimar said.
The artist is currently in the process of molding his flesh into marketable jewelry.
