This sendoff from Toys 'R' Us will break your inner child's heart

No, we're not OK.

Say goodbye to your whole entire childhood everyone, Toys 'R' Us is closing its doors for good.

Even Geoffrey, the Toys 'R' Us mascot, is packing up. A photo of the star-patterned giraffe -- dressed up for vacation with giraffe sunglasses and a giraffe hat -- went viral on Wednesday as people mourned the loss of a childhood staple.

He even has a giraffe suitcase!

The photo made its rounds on the internet, climbing to the top of Reddit's front page.

The original poster, Rene Johnpiere, also posted a super dramatic message from Geoffrey that's guaranteed to make you cry.

"We will smile with invisible tears because a heart is touched with a strong word," the message says. "And you will say: 'It was with them that I had some of the best days of my life."

Wow, Geoffrey. Deep.

The company's website also left a heartfelt goodbye on its website, reminding its customers to never grow up.

Meanwhile, Twitter users stressed over the end of an era.

Remember this Infinity War meme? It's somehow even more heartbreaking when it's used on a giant giraffe.

And the goodbye message they left!

Some people blamed the store's downfall on Gen X.

And others claimed they never really liked Toys 'R' Us anyway. (But let's be real: It's impossible to not love a toy store when you're a kid.)

While others resented the fact that Toys 'R' Us closed before they could take their own children.

It seems like Toys 'R' Us isn't over for good -- Tru Be Continued?

So there's still hope, everyone. Just don't grow up before it comes back.
