Actor Adam Driver stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to promote his latest film, Silence and of course, that small indie film Star Wars: The Force Awakens was brought up in conversation.

Driver had some beautiful words to say of his co-star in the galaxy far, far away, the late Carrie Fisher.

"She burns very bright and has such a great and generous energy...her character missing from that very small unit is a tragedy," he said before explaining that the last time he had seen her was on set as Princess Leia during the filming of the Star Wars: Episode VIII.

Fisher's scenes for the upcoming film were completed before her unexpected death.
