This week, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk posted a tweet challenging Russian President Vladimir Putin to "single combat," with the entire country of Ukraine at stake. The billionaire was almost certainly joking, and it's highly unlikely that Putin would accept even if he wasn't. Further, there is absolutely no chance that Ukraine will stop defending itself just because Putin won a fistfight.

But considering the number of bizarre antics Musk commits to, as well as the significant real-world impact his tweets have had in the past, it's fair enough that people such as Late Show host Stephen Colbert have taken notice of the weird gauntlet hurl.

"'C'mon Elon," said Colbert. "You might be the richest man who ever lived, but you can't go challenging evil dictators to fistfights. You're a father now. You have to think of your kids. I wanna say... little Skrillex and his sister Ctrl+Alt+Del?"
