Ewan McGregor may have taken a while off work, but his next project is set to be a big one -- he's starring as a grown up Danny Torrance in Doctor Sleep, an adaptation of Stephen King's 2013 sequel to The Shining.
"Well it's very faithful to the book, the script," Ewan McGregor tells Stephen Colbert five minutes into the clip above, when asked what he can say about it. "If you've read the novel, that's the story we're going to tell."
That one's set to start shooting this September, and in the meantime McGregor's promoting Christopher Robin, in which he stars opposite Winnie the Pooh.
From the sounds of it, the bear made a pretty splendid acting partner.
