The U.S. is still setting its sights on Greenland, but talks don't seem to be going anywhere — with the country's prime minister making it clear that Greenland does not want to be part of the United States.

"Of course they don't want to be part of the United States right now," Jimmy Kimmel said on his show Wednesday night. "People from the United States don't want to be part of the United States. It's like being cast in a movie that already has Bill Cosby in the lead. People don't want it."

Kimmel goes on to speculate about why President Donald Trump might be so obsessed with Greenland at the moment.

"Maybe he's just focussed on Greenland to take our attention off a different island," says Kimmel. "We are still waiting on those Epstein files."
