Sitting in a horse and carriage with Meryl Streep sounds like most of our most far-fetched daydreams. But Florence Pugh, who stars as Amy March in Greta Gerwig's Little Women movie got to live the dream during filming. And she had a rather interesting story to tell.
"We were shooting this scene in a Boston park and it's a scene that was set in Paris and we were in this carriage and we were both wearing these massive hoop skirts," Pugh told Stephen Colbert.
They were in between takes and sitting in the carriages for quite some time wearing plush coats and "dripping with jewels." As you do.
"I remember it was cold and she was like, 'I would just kill for some fries right now,'" said Pugh. Within the space of 10 minutes, a PA appeared beside the carriage, out of breath, with some Wendy's french fries for Streep.
Celebrities, they're just like us. Kinda.
