Before TV audiences eventually reunite with the Monterey Five in Big Little Lies Season 3 (which, yes, is in development), they'll get to meet Imperfect Women's trio of, well, imperfect women.
Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington, and Kate Mara star in this adaptation of Araminta Hall's novel of the same name, with Annie Weisman (Physical, Based on a True Story) serving as creator.
Moss, Washington, and Mara play Mary, Eleanor, and Nancy, three women whose decades-long friendship is shattered by a horrifying crime. In Hall's book, Nancy is murdered, leaving Mary and Eleanor to pick up the pieces.
As the pair grieve their friend's loss, they learn that her picture-perfect life — including her closest friendships — may not have been what it seemed. It's not long before Imperfect Women begins to unravel the dark web of guilt, betrayal, and love between Mary, Eleanor, Nancy, and everyone in their orbit.
