Welp, April the giraffe still hasn't given birth and, frankly, we're over it.
If you've been living under a rock for what seems like the last year and half (but has actually only been the past two months), April is an extremely pregnant giraffe that lives at Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville, New York. A livestream anticipating April delivering her baby began in mid-February, so everyone could witness the miracle birth.
But now it's April (the month) and STILL NO BABY.
While there have been some movement and many updates, April the giraffe remains one big, pregnant tease.
Feeling our frustration, Ricky Rilley, one of the many of us who are fed up with the waiting, was challenged on Facebook to write a song entirely dedicated to April's never-ending pregnancy. So he did. And it's actually really catchy.
He's now trying to spread the love for April by challenging others to share a video of themselves singing along with the hashtag #imgoingcrazywaiting.
We're convinced that April's pregnancy is one big prank, but maybe the song will finally coax the little one out.
