Parents sure do love to temporarily devastate their children.

Due to an influx of footage, Jimmy Kimmel has released a second 2016 edition of parents telling their children their Halloween candy is gone. Like the first, it is full of hilarity, anger and tears -- and why wouldn't it be? Candy is one of the only simple joys we have left in this world.

However, a few kids seem to have wised up to Kimmel's pranking ways. "I know this is the Jimmy Kimmel trick," one astute boy says. "That used to be my favorite show."
