Get Out being submitted as a comedy for the Golden Globe Awards has raised a few eyebrows, and here to joke about it is Jordan Peele.
Peele was a guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday night, and Colbert asked him about his debut film Get Out's categorisation. Peele was quick with his answer: "I submitted it as a documentary."
"The thing that resonated to people was truth," said Peele, "for me it's more of a historical biopic."
So the submission of Get Out as a comedy remains a mystery, and Peele remains a genre-defying genius.
