Students in a horror movie class come prepared for a fright, but they got the surprise of their lives on Thursday.

UCLA teacher Tananarive Due was teaching a Black Horror film class, so she decided to show the students a scene from the film Get Out. She also managed to sneak the writer-director Jordan Peele (Key and Peele, Fargo) into the back of the classroom.

After raising his hand to answer a question posed by Due, Peele walked up to the front to field questions from the class. They responded appropriately -- that is to say ecstatically.

Peele talked to them about the significance of the terrifying "Sunken Place" from Get Out.

It wasn't just the students who had a good time, as Peele tweeted:

Your move, Alfred Hitchcock. OK, probably not the best example, but you get the idea.
