That's what happens to Jimmy Kimmel's kids in the video above when Olivia Rodrigo climbs into the back seat to hitch a lift, making small talk before singing along with a couple of their favourite hits including "ballad of a homeschooled girl" and "get him back!".
It's not Carpool Karaoke — as Kimmel says at the end, "oh no, we're gonna get sued" — but now that The Late Late Show is no more it's the closest we're gonna get.
