We all know how important it is to take care of our health and well-being, but we’re not all cut out to be in the gym 5 days a week. Put simply, exercise is time consuming, grueling, and pretty boring. Summer is approaching, and we’re all feeling the pressure to feel our best, which is sending a lot of people towards those tough workouts that take a lot of time out of your day.

It’s not all bad news though! Your summer fitness goals are totally achievable -- and you don’t even need to step foot on a treadmill. With the Fastrack Reflex you can keep tabs on the way your body is working out every day, and gear up for some action as there are so many fun ways you can up your movement on a daily basis. Here are a few tips:

1. Go paintballing!

Aside from being great fun, getting your friends together and going paintballing is great exercise! You’ll be diving, rolling, crawling, outrunning your opponents and sprinting for cover -- it’s a full body workout! Add to that a healthy dose of laughing at your friends as they roll around covered in paint and you’ve got strength and fitness levels soaring.

2. Put on your dancing shoes.

A night out on the dance floor is a great way to get some extra steps into your day, and catch up with your friends in a fun environment. Dancing is great exercise, so you can dance your way into the summer looking and feeling your best. With your Fastrack Reflex you and your friends can compare just how many steps you’ve been throwing on your night out -- turn it into a competition and see who moves the most.

3. Plan an active date.

Spending time with “bae” is one of your top priorities, but that doesn’t mean you guys can just sit on the sofa or head out to dinner. Why not plan something active -- head to a trampolining park and work up a sweat bouncing around, or head out for a long walk to see the sights of your city. There’s so much on your doorstep that can add activity to your lifestyle without it seeming like you’re making any effort at all, go out and enjoy it.

4. Learn a new skill.

It’s never too late to try something new. This summer, why not make your goal to learn a new active skill, and make it a big part of your normal routine. You could learn to surf, take up yoga or even join your local tennis club -- you never know who you might meet. Adding an active skill into your day will do wonders for your fitness levels.

5. Do something completely ridiculous.

Get out of your comfort zone -- there are so many ways you can improve your mental and physical well-being with just a few small changes. Get your friends together and go try out sumo suit wrestling! The belly laughs of how hilarious you all look will be exercise enough for the day, and throwing yourselves around in a big heavy suit will build strength.

With the Fastrack Reflex you can keep track of how well these new exercises are bumping up your daily movement -- you can track calories burnt, steps walked and keep an eye on your schedule to be sure you’ve got enough time to add in something extra to your day. Set your goal and get moving!
