Cpl. Delgado has done more than sharpen his technical skills during his time in the U.S. Army. In addition to fixing essential equipment, he's also building a path towards a future career in technology and science.

But these aren't the only skills he'll bring with him once his service is done. He'll also be taking a sense of pride in his work and a determination to do great things in the future.

Army Soldiers take skills, mindset and capabilities with them when they leave the service, and apply them to their personal lives and future careers – in and out of the Army.

And as family members, innovators and mentors for years to come, Soldiers find ways to give back within their communities and support the people around them, building off of the values they have gained during their service.

Whether Cpl. Delgado is repairing a pair of night vision goggles or teaching his nephew how to fix his tie, he is making a difference.

Learn more about Cpl. Delgado's story in the video above.
