Styles may change, but true beauty never dies.

In the latest installment of the "100 Years of Beauty" project from The Cut (here are the first and second ones), stylist Tiffany Lee shows how beauty is portrayed and viewed in Korea. She begins by transforming her hair and makeup into a classic look from each decade, and then splits into the diverging styles of North and South Korea.

The looks show the difference that 50 years can make on two societies that are worlds apart but are in such close proximity.
